Combine CoolSculpting with EMSculpt Neo
If you are seeking an ideal physique with optimum levels of fat and muscles, a strict diet and regular exercises will certainly get you 70-80% to your goal. However, more often than not, attempts to achieve 100% ideal physique by relying only on food intake and workouts see low success rates.
For some it could be due to genetics, where certain body parts are more prone to stubborn fat pockets. For others, natural methods of reduced calorie intake and exercise could hit a plateau, or may not be sustainable for long term.
The fact is, while diets and intense cardio can decrease the size of fat cells in the body, spot reduction is not possible. You are likely to lose weight (and possible muscles) in all parts of your body.
To lose just underarm fat? Or reduce those pesky flabby inner thighs?
Exercise could tone these parts, but the fat cells remain. Many have discovered that to their dismay, no amount of working out or healthy-eating gets rid of stubborn pockets of fat.
For those that falls in this “fit but frustrated” category, either CoolSculpting or EMSculpt NEO (or both) may be the solution.
When pitting EMSculpt NEO against CoolSculpting, it is important to remember that each offers different results. While EMSculpt can remove fat cells, leading to a reduction in circumference, the focused fat-reduction CoolSculpting treatment still aces in the fat removal department, with specific-designed applicators for body parts with localized pockets of fatty tissue that persist despite exercise and diet intervention.
If you can pinch your targeted fat, CoolSculpting is likely able to eliminate the fat!
With that said, if your primary goal is an overall toned appearance with increased muscle mass, then EMSculpt NEO would be the better treatment for you.
That is why a body assessment is important before you commit to either procedure, or any form of body-sculpting treatments.
So now that you are aware of the differences, how does the combination of Coolsculpting and EMSculpt NEO work?
CoolSculpting uses “Cryolipolysis” a cold-freezing treatment for targeted fat reduction by eliminating fat cells in specific body parts. It cannot however, help anyone lose overall body weight but is more of a body sculpting and contouring procedure. The ideal candidate for CoolSculpting is someone already at, or close to their goal weight but is struggling with fat that just won’t budge.
Bear in mind that CoolSculpting technology only targets subcutaneous fat, the pinchable fat under our skin, but not visceral fat, which is the fat that surrounds our organs. The destroyed fat cells are flushed out of the body via the lymphaphatic system, and are gone forever.
For EMSculpt NEO, fat cells are destroyed using heat, and cleared from the body naturally as well. EMSculpt NEO has an added advantage since it is able to increase muscle gains. This powerful device uses high intensity focused electromagnetic technology (HIFEM™) energy combined with radio-frequency (RF) to trigger high levels of muscle contractions per minute, per body part in each 30 minutes session.
This high levels of muscle contractions, achieved in such a small timeframe is not humanly possible yet it is perfectly safe.
This pushes the muscles to achieve “supramaximal contractions”, a process that tears the muscle just right, so the muscles heals stronger and larger.
This enables the muscle to handle “heavier” load in the future, much like how consistent weight lifting exercise builds stronger muscles.
A significant number of calories are burned in the process, causing weight loss as the muscles are challenged to grow, but EMSculpt NEO is not primarily a weight reduction procedure. Ideal candidates are those within their ideal weight, but desires better muscle definition in their abs, arms, legs and glutes.
As our muscles would not be able to differentiate between supramaximal contractions achieved at the gym or through EMSculpt NEO applicators, the contracted muscles will be tightened, toned, and strengthened accordingly. However, just like a normal workout session, the results aren’t immediate, as the worked muscles will take time to grow and build. A standard treatment protocol would be 4-6 sessions, twice a week. Post treatment, patients would feel a little sore and uncomfortable, and this effect is on par with the usual aches one gets after a vigorous workout. Other than this minor situation, there is no downtime.
At the same time, patients are encouraged to continue working out, as exercising in between EMSculpt NEO sessions will help accentuate and highlight the results. Notable gains are seen from 4-6 weeks, while tangible results that can be felt right after treatment are a marked improvement in muscle strength and decreased fatigue during exercise.
How soon after CoolSculpting can you do EMSculpt?
It is advisable to undergo both CoolSculpting and EMSculpt Neo in the same timeframe.
CoolSculpting offers credible fat reduction results and with EMSculpt for strength, tone and definition, you can customise your body to your desire.
