While Cool Sculpting is a wonderful solution to get rid of stubborn fat deposits in certain body parts, it works gradually to give the desired results. Like all beauty and fitness procedures, the results may not always be instantly visible.

Most CoolSculpting patients see changes within four weeks of their treatment.

What are the expected results from CoolSculpting?

While some visible changes start showing up in the first few weeks of the treatment,  you can see some dramatic results within two months. Besides, the body will continue flushing out fat cells for up to 6 months.

CoolSculpting permanently removes fat cells from the body to leave you with a toned and firm shape.

How effective is it?

You will be happy to know that CoolSculpting has a higher success rate compared to liposuction. It is because they remove fat cells from the body with the most minimal side effects.

However, nothing magical, like a complete fat removal, happens through CoolSculpting. It doesn’t even work for everyone, and some people may suffer from nasty side effects.

CoolSculpting does not necessarily tighten loose skin.

It’s just that the freezing treatment triggers a skin tightening reaction called cryodermadstringo. It is an after-effect that leaves only a few CoolSculpting patients with firmer skin.

There are two possible reasons for it to happen.

The cold triggers skin collagen production which helps in reducing skin sagging.

The second reason is that CoolSculpting is a gradual process and gives complete results only after 3-4 months of the treatment. It is hence possible for the skin to naturally tighten over this duration.

How much skin tightness is expected?

You can expect to experience skin tightening at least one month after your new sculpting session. Besides, visual tightening occurs only on some neck and face parts like cheeks, brows, love handles,  and jowls.

It, however, doesn’t help tighten already sagging skin on the arms and legs.

How much weight can you lose with CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting doesn’t help you lose weight because muscles weigh more than fat, and CoolSculpting only removes fat and not muscles. So there will not be any significant weight loss even if you eliminate a handful of fat tissue.

CoolSculpting only helps remove stubborn fat on your body.

How many sessions are needed for different body parts?

It all depends on how much fat has to be eliminated. Most candidates experience results within just one treatment.

Others may need a few treatments to reap its benefits. Your cosmetic surgeon will be able to ascertain how many CoolSculpting sessions you require based on fat assessments and other medical tests.

Does CoolSculpting work on cellulite?

CoolSculpting is a non-surgical procedure that may only reduce the appearance of cellulite while eliminating fat. It, however, doesn’t work on removing cellulite completely.

Does fat grow back after CoolSculpting?

No, fat doesn’t actually grow back after your the procedure.

The process removes fat cells from a targeted area like your love handles. These fat cells do not reappear because they are flushed out of the body forever.

However, there is always the chance of the remaining, surrounding fat cells growing larger with time. It is this growth of surrounding cells that make it seem as if the fat grows back after CoolSculpting. Regular exercise and healthy eating habits post the process are hence recommended to maintain the effects.
